Learning to Live With Depression- Addien ap Rees

There is no right way to learn how to live with depression. Some methods may work for others while some may not. A good place to start is looking at professional help and practicing self care. Some healthy habits are included below.


Self care- treating yourself ex: ice cream, binging a new show

Healthy routines- drinking water, eating balanced diet, hygiene, getting fresh air, getting a decent amount of sleep

Finding a new hobby/passion- jewelry making, sewing, video games, starting a collection, singing, gardening, drawing, even investing in a new religion, etc

Finding a good support group- dm us, talk to a trusted friend/adult, start exploring therapy or psychiatry options (in person, over the phone, or online)

Find a safe place- your room, a hiking trail or place out in nature, a certain shop or restaurant you like to go to, your car
